How to return or exchange items
- 1) Login to your account (this must be the account from where the items were ordered)
- 2) Select My Orders on the left of your panel
- 3) Click on Create Ticket on the line of the order with items that you would like to return
- 4) Write in Title a short sentence that will help to identify the ticket
- 5) Select the Department (Other, Return, or Exchange) according to your case
- 6) The cell Assign Order must show the items to return
- 7) Detail which items You want to return and add your comments in the Message box
- 8) If required, please attach a document or picture related to the item to return (max size allowed is 1MB)
- 9) Click on Submit
We will send a return label via email. Please print the label and affix it to your package. See instructions printed on the return label for drop-off locations. Please note: You may be able to set up a return online for more than allowed days after delivery, but the Customer Service will deny returns or exchanges out of term and condition- time set for the specific item. Items purchased with additional shipping cost to the regular FREE SHIPPING RETURN will be charged for the additional shipping cost amount, which will be deducted from the refunded amount. If you need further assistance setting up a return, please contact Customer Service.
|You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by MADEINITALYMALL within certain time of delivery for a full refund. The following conditions and exceptions apply, as do those listed on the Product Specific Policies pages.
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error will be refunded up to 50% of item's price.
We'll request a refund after we receive and process your return. If you are due a refund for non-returnable items, such as groceries, we'll issue a refund when you contact us.
For items directed to our Returns Counter, expect your refund within 5 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you'll receive the refund sooner). This time period includes:
* 3 to 5 business days for us to process your return
* The time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines)
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
| Return Policy for Wine
As per California law, it is illegal to return wines once sold, except for defective wines. Defective wines may be returned for replacement if claimed within 30 days from the date of purchase. All returned wines must be accompanied with a receipt. Only one bottle per type of wine should have been opened. Any additional bottle opened per type of wine will be considered fully purchased and not returnable. Selling not well know varietal and appellation of wine from Italy, it is possible that the wine sold may also be returned because not compatible with the purchaser own taste expectation. The return claim is not accepted for this case. At MadeInItalyMall, we are proud to offer great values on the Italian best wines, which are selected by a team of certified sommelier of the Italian Association of Sommelier. Moreover it is fair to mention that the wines may be easily deteriorable if treated without care due to their natural method of production as well as for their low content of additional preservatives (sulfites). In the wine industry standard it's well known that wine is easily deteriorable, especially if it's very high quality wine. All bottles five years or older are purchased at the buyer's risk. For all the mentioned reasons, we will accept returning claim only for defective wine. The wine returned have to be shipped with the original container.
HEAT is the worst enemy of wine. Even on mild days the temperature inside an automobile can exceed 90 degrees F, some 35 degrees (or more) hotter than our wine cellar. This wide temperature differential can ruin the wine. Therefore, out of fairness to our clientele, we cannot accept any returns of wines showing evidence of heat damage. Also excessive COLD temperature (below 35 degrees F) may damage the wine. Our wine have been all imported into USA through freight at controlled temperature appropriate for wine. The logistic of our wine distribution strives to make sure that you receive the wines in excellent condition and in a timely manner.
However, if you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date by visiting our Customer Care area and submitting your issue using the form provided. We would like the opportunity to correct the situation. Please note that also products of other industries, such as DVDs and videos, cannot be returned once opened.
For any wine return, visit our Customer Care area and submitt your issue using the form provided. Any unauthorized shipment of wine to MadeInItalyMall is not refunded, while any authorized shipment is arranged by and charged to MadeInItalyMall.
Refusing a Delivery
If you refuse delivery, the cancelled order will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
