Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Options
  • Standard: Most cost effective and best when you're not in a hurry or if you're shipping to a work address. Please consider that an adult of 21 years or older will have to sign for delivery of packages containing alcohol beverages. UPS or Fedex Ground or other authorized carriers of wine, depending on your address.
  • Evening: (5pm-8pm, Tue-Sat): Best when you or your gift recipients are not home during the day to sign for delivery. Fedex Ground Residential, additional fee.
  • By appointment morning (9am-3pm, Tue-Sat): Select arrival date and carrier will call you to schedule delivery time in the morning at the phone number you enter in shipping information. Phone number can be edited at final stage of checkout. Additional fee.
  • By appointment night (9am-8pm, Tue-Sat): Select arrival date and carrier will call you to schedule delivery time at the phone number you enter in shipping information. Phone number can be edited at final stage of checkout. Ground Residential, additional fee.
    Shipping Exceptions:
    • During summer months, shipping and handling charges may be slightly higher for wine shipments to cover rapid delivery to minimize the chance of heat damage. This additional cost would be reflected in the shopping cart at checkout.
    • Select merchandise may require additional shipping charges which will be reflected at checkout.

Credit Card charging

MadeInItalyMall will charge your credit card once the items are located in stock and the billing information as well as the receiving address are verified. You will not be charged for any item until it is ready to ship out. (unless purchasing a made-to-order item)

 

Payment by check

Simply shop as you would by doing a regular on-line order then select the payment by check option. The system will ask you to follow a dedicated checkout process which will automatically generate an instruction set for your order. The Payment by check option may delay the payment approval and so the shipping process by few days.

 

PayPal

We do not accept PayPal payment at this time. Please contact our customer service since we are in the process of activating this payment option. Please consider that PayPal payment requires you to have a PayPal account.

 

Viewing Orders
Since we keep track of the whole order process, you can access to the actual status of your order process. To access this data, you need to log-in into your account at MadeInItalyMall. It's easy to manage your orders through your account, at any time. You can check your open orders status, and update orders you just submitted before it ships out. To delete your account, go to My Account and login using your ID (or email) and password to access Your Account panel, then click on Customer Service on the left of your panel, create a new ticket selecting the Account Removal department. Any Title or Message you'll write, the removal process will start once you'll submit your ticket to the Account Removal Department. You may be required to confirm the removal.

How are the products packaged for shipping?

All our items are packed and shipped according to the industry standard and our carrier requirements.

 

What if I am not home when my order is delivered?

If you believe not to be at home during day time, we recommend you to ship to your business address items that require signature (high value items) and adult signature (wine, all alcohol items). You can require for evening shipping, which may be charged with additional cost on your shipping cost. Please contact our Customer Service though e-mail to check if your item is eligeable for FREE evening delivery.

 

Is my order insured in case an item breaks during the transport?

Many items are typically insured during their transportation. Once the item is delivered, you may want to take picture of the external package if big damage is already visible on the outside package. Our fragile items are packed to resist the worst shipping condition according to the industry standard. If you should receive a broken item, please contact us within 24 hours from its delivery: you can send us a simple e-mail or text message (at our phone number on the home page) anytime.

 

Can I use my shipping coupon?
